Keeping your Credit Card Account Safe

In this article, I will be going over how to keep your Credit Card accounts safe.

         - You Should always leave your credit card account number, phone number

and expiration date of the account in a safe place.

         - Always go over your bill statement to make sure no unauthorized

charges was made, its better not to do monthly automatic payment for your

accounts.People who do automatic payments usually don't look at the statement,

so they won'tsee unauthorized payment.

         - If there is any errors or charges you never made, you should write to

the company immediately about the charges and errors.

         - If your card is lost or stolen, you should report it as soon as

possible. Most companies have a 24 hour service, which you can call .

It is always a good idea to follow up on it, either by phone or mail.

         - For stolen card, you are never respoinsible for the

unauthorized charges, but for some companies, the most you are

responsible  is $45 per unauthorized charge.

         - Whenever you hand your Card to the clerk, you should watch them.

Make sure to get back your card, when the clerk is done with it.

-You should leave your infrequent used card in a safe place.

         - If you have cards that you don't use, close that account with that company.
